A TMSA-initiatied monitoring study at three key border posts in the Tripartite region commenced in July 2012. The study includes both traffic counts and detailed time studies at Kasumbalesa, Nakonde / Tunduma and Chirundu One-Stop Border Post. TMSA's overall border post monitoring methodology includes detailed data from these ad-hoc time studies in conjunction with monthly border crossing times. Monthly border crossing times are obtained through GPS tracking in partnership with private sector tracking companies (Global Track & Digicore) and FESARTA to obtain monthly tracking data.
