TMSA Supports a number of countries to implement regional programmes at a national level in line with the Tripartite Work Programme.  Currently, TMSA provides support to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The Objectives of the TMSA In-Country work is to provide assistance to the  implementation of the Tripartite Work Programme through support to country programmes.

Benefits will accrue from linking national programmes to the Tripartite regional agenda - thereby improve the coherence of the regional agenda.

Early Closure of TMSA Programme: The Secretary of State of the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) has decided to terminate its financial contribution to TradeMark Southern Africa (TMSA), as announced on 4 December 2013. As DFID is the sole financier of the TMSA programme of support to the COMESA-EAC-SADC Tripartite, TMSA will officially be closed from 17 March 2014 instead of 31 October 2014.
